Sheesh. Anyone can rattle off a dozen advantages of shooting digital over film, and some people can even name a few advantages of film over digital. Recently I developed my first roll of film in my basement. Yep, I ordered the chemicals, developing tank and reels, and went to town. Sometimes slow is exactly what you need. I still shoot digital and film. Sometimes the pictures are required quickly, or just need to get on the web soon. Other times, I get to slow down and turn simply capturing a moment into telling a story and really making art.
